This volume examines the life and artwork of two pioneers of feminine painting in Chile. Magdalena and Aurora Mira Mena were sisters from a high society family and daughters of Gregorio Mira Iiguez , an amateur painter who was a student of renowned German painter Moritz Rugendas and French painter Raymond Monvoisin.
